Hand in hand with condition, goes grading. It is very important to fairly and accurately grade your
items. Do not simply go directly to the “Near Mint” column and look at your bent, worn or scribbled on
gum cards and say “Cool they’re worth $150!”

You must remain objective and look at the item as if it were someone else's that you may be
purchasing. If something has multiple pieces, such as the model kits, and they are missing a piece or
pieces, a proportionate dollar amount must be subtracted from the item’s value in its grading column.

A Very Good (VG) item that is missing a piece, is reduced from THAT (the VG) price range. [You don’t go
to the NM price and reduce from there if it wasn’t NM to start with!]
